Sulcus, Gyrus, Interhemispheric fissure

Gyrus (plural gyri) is a ridge on the cerebral cortex.

Sulcus (plural sulci) is a groove that separates gyri.

The cerebral hemispheres are separated by a median cleft: the inherhemispheric fissure (great longitudinal fissure). The falx cerebri (cerebral falx) is a fold of dura mater which lies within inherhemispheric fissure
